With the objective of promoting and fostering the academic preparation of bright young people who require financial support to continue their higher education, this scholarship program is established as a contribution from the company Servicios Hispanos Múltiples to the Latino community.

2 SCHOLARSHIPS
FOR HIGH SCHOOL

Which are the requirements?

To apply to the Servicios Hispanos Múltiples scholarship program, each participant must have the following requirements and their necessary support or documents that corroborate the following:

01.

Being Hispanic or of Hispanic roots

Send the birth certificate in English or Spanish (scanned document of the original) where it can be verified that the participant or one of their parents is Hispanic.

02.

Be a high school student

You must be in the 11th or 12th grade of High School. Deliver a certificate of attendance from the High School (scanned document of the original).

03.

Minimum
3.0 GPA

Grades report / academic records (Transcripts) of the last school year completed and of the current school year (original or electronic scanned document).

04.

CV or
resume

Submit a resume specifying your academic achievements, community achievements and work experience (if any). The file format is free and should not exceed 2 pages.

05.

Academic Purpose

Letter of Declaration of Academic Purpose (Study Objectives). The document has a maximum of 300 words, in which your goals and future projects are explained. It must include experiences and skills that have forged your character, developed your talents or interest in continuing your higher academic studies.

06.

Opinion essay

In this supported opinion essay, the applicant must write about “The Importance of Education for Community Development” using a maximum of 300 words, clearly stating his opinion, and supporting it through bibliography or academic references.

07.

Letter of recommendation

Letter of recommendation from a professor that must be sent directly by the professor to the email info@servicioshispanos.org The name of the applicant and scholarship reference must be specified in the subject of the e-mail (example: LUIS FLORES – HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP).

08.

Main or Dependent Client

Have prepared the taxes in Servicios Hispanos Múltiples, either as main or as dependent in previous years or this year’s tax declaration. Old and new customers can participate.

09.

Community College requirements list

Meet the requirements to be accepted into a Community College. List of specific documents to be accepted at the Community College of your choice (PDF of the list provided by the institution).

10.

Letter of authorization (minors)

Letter of consent from the parents or guardians where the full names, identification number, contact cell phone and signature are included. This is a unique and applicable requirement for minors who wish to participate in the program (attach a copy of ID or passport to verify signatures).

What are the steps?

Gather all the necessary documents

Once you have all your documents ready, you must upload them on the scholarship page as of January 29, 2024. With the exception of the teacher’s recommendation letter that is sent by e-mail. You must also fill out a form with your personal data and contact information.

Receive your participant code (anonymity)

At the end of the scholarship application period (January 29 to April 15), each participant will receive an e-mail confirming her participation in the scholarship program with her code; To ensure objectivity and transparency in the process, the person in charge of filtering the applicants that meet the requirements is someone from another state who will not recognize any names. That is, the identity of each applicant will be preserved.

Check the status of your application

Each participant will be able to check the status of their application. A final shortlist will be posted on the scholarship updates page. That same day, an e-mail will be sent with the details and indications to continue with the second phase of the process.
